What you will do

• Direct the monthly financial close process to ensure accuracy in accordance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed financial analyses.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and implement new accounting standards.
• Support the internal control environment, including approval of new vendors and review of payroll registers.
• Manage external relationships with accounting service providers regarding tax and technical matters.
• Oversee global consolidations and provide support and coaching to international accounting team members.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Active CPA license
• Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate or public accounting.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Excel.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience using NetSuite ERP.
• Experience working with automotive or manufacturing companies.
