Salary: $190,000 - $230,000 USD

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of accounts through month-end and quarter-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Design, maintain, and operationalize technical accounting policies and SOPs across the domain.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives by leveraging AI tools to replace manual workflows.
• Oversee SOX control design, execution, and timely remediation of audit gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Finance, Tax, and Procurement to support organizational expansion.
• Coach and develop a team of accountants, setting clear technical and operational standards.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• Approximately 10 years of progressive accounting experience in public or high-growth environments.
• Big 4 audit background strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to design and operate controls in a SOX environment.
• Experience in ASC 842 (Lease Accounting) and ASC 718 (Stock-based compensation).
• Must be able to work from San Francisco or Seattle office (Hybrid policy).

• Experience in ERP implementation projects.
• Public company accounting experience and financial reporting cycle expertise.
• Background in building accounting infrastructure from scratch.
