About the Role

You will lead the accounting function and oversee operations for the company and its subsidiaries. You will run and support audits, manage financial reporting and prepare board materials, coordinate regulator and investor reporting, implement and improve financial systems and internal controls, support cross-functional decisions on spending and ROI, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing
• Experience managing a small high-performing team
• Experience working at or providing services to a SaaS company
• In-depth understanding of GAAP
• Experience with system implementations
• CPA certification
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences including C-suite
• Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting department operations
• Run audits for the parent company and subsidiaries
• Manage financial reporting and prepare quarterly board materials
• Assist with reporting for regulators and investors
• Enhance and implement financial systems
• Implement and strengthen internal controls and processes
• Support cross-functional decision making regarding spending, profitability and ROI
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax accountants
