TL;DR
Account Executive, Core (Fintech): Managing the full sales cycle from product demonstration to deal closure for the Core segment with an accent on new client acquisition and pipeline management. Focus on consulting with prospects to align PitchBook’s data platform with their business priorities and driving growth through strategic prospecting.
Location: Onsite in New York, NY, United States (5 days a week)
Salary: $110,000 base + $175,000 target commission

What you will do
- Manage the full sales cycle from product demonstration to deal closure for the Core segment.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through referral networks and independent outreach.
- Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions and needs analysis to act as a consultant for potential clients.
- Perform high-impact product demonstrations as a platform expert to show specific business value.
- Collaborate with Sales Development and Account Management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and accurately manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful sales and business development experience (technology product strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of negotiation and closing leads.
- Strong interest in financial markets, specifically private equity and venture capital.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be based in or be able to work onsite in New York City
