TL;DR

Account Executive (Data Feed & API): Selling hirify.global’s API and data feed solutions to banking, investing, and advisory clients with an accent on synthesizing client needs and technical capabilities. Focus on managing sales pipelines, customizing data solutions in collaboration with engineers, and driving commercial relationship growth.

Location: Onsite in New York, NY (5 days a week)

Salary: $193,075 (Base + OTE)

What you will do

  • Consult with clients and prospects to determine the suitability of customer-facing data feed and API solutions.
  • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to sell data solutions to target verticals.
  • Proactively explore opportunities to deepen commercial relationships based on customer business and data needs.
  • Manage a project queue and sales opportunities, providing accurate pipeline forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Direct Data Sales Engineers to customize API solutions and drive value creation.
  • Drive departmental innovation by finding new ways to serve customers and sell products.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development or customer success in a revenue-generating/closing role.
  • Experience with customer-facing data feed and API implementations, specifically RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts (e.g., fuzzy matching, record reconciliation) to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Catalyst, and other CRM tools.
  • Willingness to learn database concepts, including relational tables, data types, and normalization.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
