What you will do

• Build the quality team from scratch, including organizational design, hiring, and cross-functional ownership.
• Own the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, documentation, and KPI tracking.
• Drive Design for Quality (DfQ) for hardware and silicon from bring-up through post-silicon validation.
• Define manufacturing controls, FMEAs, control plans, NPI quality gates, and supplier quality programs.
• Lead global contract manufacturer (CM) and supplier audits, requiring frequent international travel.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience driving hardware or semiconductor quality across design, process, incoming, supplier, and systems.
• Experience with servers, PCs, PCIe cards, and ASIC or custom silicon quality.
• Proven track record of building a quality organization and QMS from the ground up.
• Experience working in companies that have transitioned from R&D to product-focused stages.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology (EAR compliance).

• Knowledge of reliability data, field returns, and standards such as JEDEC and IPC.
