Inventory Planner

Compensation: $60,000 - $74,100

What you will do

• Execute tactical planning to support demand flow production and Kanban management.
• Monitor inventory levels against objectives and reconcile parts shortages.
• Review MRP data and place orders with assigned vendors.
• Resolve quality issues and manage the disposition of non-conforming products.
• Coordinate materials and production groups to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes and maintain shop floor controls.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics, or an associate degree with 4-7 years of relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar inventory planning role.
• Working knowledge of MRP, Just-in-Time concepts, and manufacturing lead times.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong English skills (verbal and written) required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and heat.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Access.
• Experience with JDE (Enterprise business system).
