Compensation: $5,791.00 - $8,323.42 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Provide critical assessment and guidance to faculty and staff regarding procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage small to medium procurement projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and best practices.
  • Resolve issues between end-users and suppliers to ensure smooth order placement and delivery.
  • Monitor and expedite open purchase orders while maintaining accurate records for financial audit control.
  • Collaborate with procurement partners to align client needs with departmental service lines.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance procurement system efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, regulations, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment in complex procurement matters.

Nice to have

  • Two-year diploma in Purchasing Management or a University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Progress towards the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or equivalent.
