Salary: $96,000 - $125,000 a year

What you will do

  • Review and interpret the latest BESS standards for safety and performance.
  • Manage third-party consultants for compliance reviews and bankability reports.
  • Advise the product design team on compliance requirements during the design phase.
  • Review design documentation and compile internal compliance reports to confirm standards are met.
  • Travel to manufacturing and certification facilities in China to oversee prototype inspection and certification testing.
  • Maintain expertise on BESS safety developments to ensure products remain state-of-the-art.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the BESS industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of design standards for utility-scale BESS products and delivery.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to China up to 30-50% of the time.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

  • Experience with modular structures.
  • Chinese language skills.
