What you will do

• Own system requirements and interface definitions from concept through launch.
• Define and maintain key product interfaces across mechanical, thermal, fluid, electrical, and communication systems.
• Evaluate product performance against requirements using analysis, modeling, and development testing.
• Drive technical tradeoff studies across subsystems including cells, modules, structures, and power conversion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, validation, supply chain, and quality.
• Identify system-level technical risks and lead issue resolution to keep programs on track.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 5+ years of product engineering experience.
• Proven success leading the technical development of battery systems or electrified products.
• Strong understanding of BESS subsystems and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience owning complex systems through the full product lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of competitive BESS market trends and emerging technologies.
