What you will do
- Facilitate onboarding and deliver comprehensive training on prior authorization systems and procedures.
- Develop and update training materials, resources, and job aids to ensure clinical relevance.
- Maintain detailed records of training sessions and participant attendance for auditing purposes.
- Assess technician performance through evaluations and quizzes to provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify training needs and performance gaps.
- Process prior authorization requests and conduct outbound calls to providers for clinical information.
Requirements
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) setting.
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license is required.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering professional training programs.
- Strong understanding of prior authorization operations and Federal/State regulations.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High-speed wired internet connection (DSL, cable or fiber; wi-fi is not allowed).
