Technical Training Content Developer (Ecommerce)

Location: Austin, TX; remote-first role with optional collaborative workspaces in Austin, Atlanta, and London.

Salary: $88,630–$132,946 annual base salary; variable compensation, equity, and benefits may also apply where applicable.

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and update hirify.global product training and technical learning content as the platform evolves.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to turn platform changes into accurate learning content across course formats.
• Produce product and developer videos, including scripts, narration, and screen recordings, covering releases, FAQs, and platform capabilities.
• Apply adult learning practices, new learning techniques, AI tools, and emerging technologies to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Deliver customized virtual and in-person training for enterprise merchants, agency partners, and internal teams.
• Scope training needs, manage action plans and scheduling, and collaborate with technical, commercial, and enterprise stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of combined technology industry experience focused on technical writing, instructional design, product training, developer education, or similar work.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and local development practices, including running and modifying sites locally with frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js.
• Experience with ehirify.global tools and applications, including SaaS and open source storefronts, headless implementations, POS, PIM, OMS, ERP, and payment gateways.
• Technical foundation in APIs, including running API requests from API documentation or a Postman library, plus familiarity with frontend development tools and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to audiences with different experience levels.
• Proactive and transparent communication, awareness of stakeholder needs across global matrixed organizations, and strong collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple content projects independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, ask for help, and share knowledge.
