What you will do
- Lead the client relationship strategy and strategic business planning for a portfolio of PBA market segment clients.
- Manage account renewals, contracting processes, and PNL management with a focus on retention.
- Coordinate the broader Account Management team to ensure member satisfaction and contractual obligation fulfillment.
- Analyze pharmacy and healthcare trends to provide proactive recommendations for plan management.
- Partner with Business Development and Underwriting teams to support growth efforts and RFP processes.
- Serve as the primary content expert for Health Plan and TPA clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in health administration, business, or relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmacy (Health Plan, Managed Care, or PBM).
- Required knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Health Exchange pharmacy.
- Proven track record of building trust in internal and external professional relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically handling large data sets in Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to present to client groups.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Experience working with clients subject to TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) rules and regulations.
