TL;DR

Sr Director, Global Media Strategy & Activation (Marketing): Leading the development and execution of full-funnel, data-driven media strategies across global markets with an accent on paid media investment, audience insights, and cross-functional leadership. Focus on optimizing global media budgets, driving brand visibility across North America, LATAM, Canada, and EMEA, and implementing innovative ad tech solutions.

Location: On-site in Needham, MA (3x a week)

Salary: $180,000 - $276,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop and implement integrated media strategies for new product launches and core categories globally.
  • Manage the global media budget for Shark Home to optimize ROI across various markets.
  • Drive full-funnel planning across TV, streaming, digital, social, OOH, and emerging platforms.
  • Partner with analytics teams to leverage media mix modeling and audience insights for targeting.
  • Lead global and regional media agency relationships, including contract negotiations and performance reviews.
  • Mentor a high-performing global media team and provide strategic insights to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in global media strategy, planning, and investment.
  • Proven track record in product technology, CPG, or high-growth consumer categories.
  • Experience in matrixed, multinational organizations and driving operational transformation.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and emerging media platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, DSPs, and MMM.
  • Must be able to work on-site in the Needham, MA office 3 days per week.
