What you will do

• Greet and room patients, monitoring vital signs and documenting medical histories.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and injections per provider direction.
• Perform specimen collection, transport, and prepare prescription renewals in EMR.
• Provide health coaching to patients to support healthy lifestyle choices via weekly calls.
• Collaborate with the care team during daily huddles to ensure efficient clinic coordination.
• Maintain and disinfect exam rooms and treatment equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Accredited Medical Assisting certification or equivalent clinical experience (1 year in multi-provider practice).
• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Ability to work onsite in Portland, Maine.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital literacy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice to have

• Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification.
