What you will do

• Process assigned tasks and audits efficiently while maintaining precision and productivity metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to other representatives.
• Act as the primary escalation point for resolving complex HIPAA-related release issues.
• Recommend process improvements and assist in updating CCR training and reference materials.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and state/federal statutes.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to manage queues and support various accounts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in medical records, ROI, or Health Information Management (HIM).
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to the release of Protected Health Information.
• Proficiency in multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while exceeding volume and quality standards.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
