What you will do

• Establish a multi-year design roadmap balancing high-tech innovation with clinical warmth.
• Build scalable design systems and guardrails to empower engineering autonomy and visual consistency.
• Define interaction principles and emotional guidelines for the integration of AI in compassionate care.
• Lead and mentor the design organization, setting high standards for talent and strategic partnership.
• Establish methodologies for user research grounded in clinical insights and patient data.
• Manage operational strategy, including budgeting, headcount planning, and tool-stack prioritization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design with a proven track record of leading teams through scale.
• Expertise in systems thinking and deconstructing complex healthcare problems into scalable frameworks.
• Ability to lead design for both high-utility professional tools and approachable consumer experiences.
• Experience implementing AI and modern tools to automate the design-to-code lifecycle.
• Must be based in the US.
• Prior experience in a regulated health tech environment (HIPAA, WCAG) is highly preferred.
