TL;DR

Senior Learning & Development Specialist (Edtech): Establishing people development as a strategic driver for business by designing practical learning and enablement formats with an accent on leadership development, competency models, and career paths. Focus on building structured onboarding programs, integrating L&D with performance review cycles, and utilizing AI-powered learning tools.

Location: Must be based in Germany and own a valid work permit for Germany

Salary: €54,600 – €69,400 gross per year (Total compensation up to €78,400)

What you will do

  • Design and implement practical learning formats, including blended learning, live sessions, and microlearning across the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives, serving as a strategic sparring partner for Leads to build capable teams.
  • Evolve the competency model and translate it into clear, skill-based career paths for Individual Contributors and Leaders.
  • Analyze engagement data from pulse surveys and eNPS to derive and implement concrete L&D initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hands-on L&D expertise gained within a growing organization, with a focus on building structure and strategic delivery.
  • Experience designing and delivering modern learning formats for a digitally native audience.
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and alignment sessions with senior stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience building and facilitating structured, role-specific onboarding programs beyond generic HR processes.
  • Expertise in developing pragmatic competency models and linking L&D pathways to performance review cycles.
  • English: Proficiency required for communicating complex topics clearly to senior audiences.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with e-learning authoring tools, ideally Articulate 360.
  • Familiarity with people development platforms such as Culture Amp or Leapsome.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools like Synthesia to create digital learning videos.
