Staff Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid with in-person work three days a week and residence within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub required.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Billing product area and Spend ecosystem.
• Translate international tax, accounting, and billing challenges into scalable product solutions.
• Use customer feedback, data, market research, and AI opportunities to prioritize and execute product bets.
• Improve expense, card, invoice, reconciliation, and ERP-posting experiences for finance teams and employees.
• Prototype rapidly with tools such as Claude, Cursor, Bolt, and Claude Code, accelerating products toward production.
• Lead and support engineers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders through servant leadership.

Requirements

• Significant Product Manager experience in a technology company.
• Working knowledge of accounting reconciliation, finance operations, and complex expense workflows.
• Strong customer empathy, design thinking, data fluency, and product prioritization skills.
• Experience leading and influencing engineers and designers and collaborating across large cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English is the official language at the office; the role requires commuting to the Barcelona hub three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a tax product.
• Background in development, design, or business.
• Hands-on AI building, prototyping, or side-project experience.
• Comfort with Figma, Git, and modern prototyping environments.
