Product Manager (Fintech)

Product Manager (Fintech): Owning end-to-end trading and investing product areas, from regulatory positioning and product strategy through specification, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization, with an accent on execution, tax-efficient investing, crypto, accounts, and payments. Focus on reading regulations and API documentation, querying product data, designing detailed product specifications, and building services used by millions of investors.
Location: Hybrid in London or Berlin, Germany

What you will do
- Own a product area end to end, including its legal and regulatory position.
- Set priorities using client needs, product data, and commercial goals.
- Read regulations, API documentation, and operational processes before forming recommendations for Legal and Compliance review.
- Write detailed specifications covering client journeys, business rules, data, integrations, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead delivery with Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, and Operations through testing and launch.
- Monitor product performance, client feedback, and commercial results to drive improvements.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and operating a complex product, including the ability to explain failures and difficult product decisions.
- Technical understanding sufficient to read documentation, follow data flows, and reason about system behavior with engineers.
- Ability to query product data independently and explain the figures used in decisions.
- Regular use of AI in product work, validated against documentation, data, and other primary sources.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in London or Berlin, Germany.
Nice to have
- Experience in trading and execution, tax-efficient investing and pensions, crypto, client accounts, payments, cards, or foreign exchange.
