What you will do
- Gather and analyze technical requirements from clients to plan firmware solutions.
- Develop and implement robust firmware for embedded systems using C/C++.
- Work closely with mobile teams to troubleshoot and optimize communication protocols between devices and applications.
- Write and maintain detailed firmware documentation and perform release testing.
- Estimate project work and provide technical feedback during team meetings and daily calls.
- Establish and promote high-standard development practices within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded systems.
- Practical experience with ESP32, ESP-IDF, and ESP-ADF libraries.
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth (BLE, Mesh) and IoT protocols like MQTT.
- English: B2 level proficiency required.
- Self-reliant, responsible, and effective at managing technical tasks independently.
Nice to have
- Experience with rapid hardware prototyping (Arduino, Raspberry PI).
- Knowledge of networking standards like Zigbee, Thread, or LoRa.
- Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, GCP, Azure) and cryptography.
- Experience with audio path processing or machine learning on embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Rust.
