What you will do
- Proactively manage collection efforts and navigate multi-party environments involving customers, brokers, and consultants.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external customers to resolve billing inquiries and delinquent payments.
- Investigate root causes of payment issues and collaborate cross-functionally to implement effective solutions.
- Prepare reporting for internal stakeholders on collection metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding and Average Days to Collect.
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures and support financial audits.
- Analyze customer payment trends to identify and implement process improvements for cash flow optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in high-volume, multi-party accounts receivable roles.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Invoicing, Collections, Cash Applications, and Accounting Reconciliations.
- Knowledge of Internal Control Documentation and SOX framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing solutions.
- Expert understanding of accounts receivable and solid grasp of accounting policy.

- Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems.
