What you will do
- Oversee the daily administration of equity programs including grants, exercises, and releases.
- Ensure strict compliance with SEC, IRS, and regulatory requirements alongside quarterly financial reporting (ASC 718).
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to integrate equity transactions into core business systems.
- Act as a functional architect to design automated workflows and optimize equity administration platforms.
- Provide expert support to employees regarding awards, plan rules, and tax implications.
- Support internal and external audits related to equity compensation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct experience in equity administration, preferably within a public company.
- Deep knowledge of RSUs, stock options, ESPP, and associated tax/regulatory landscapes.
- Proficiency with industry-standard platforms such as Shareworks, Equity Edge, or Carta.
- Must be based in the USA.
- Strong analytical ability with experience in SOX compliance environments.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental stakeholder management.
Nice to have
- CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation.
- Experience in high-growth or newly public technology companies.
- Advanced data skills and experience building workflows with Alteryx.
