Salary: $125,000–$165,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for senior engineering, product, data science, and AI roles.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to attract top-tier passive candidates.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and talent consultant to the CTO and senior engineering leadership.
  • Lead complex negotiations for base salary, bonus, and equity compensation.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to identify process bottlenecks and implement scalable hiring solutions.
  • Coach hiring managers on inclusive interviewing best practices and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in technical environments.
  • Proven track record in leadership and executive-level hiring.
  • Deep understanding of technical roles (Software Engineering, Data Science, AI).
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience using recruitment metrics.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-evolving startup environments.
  • Must be authorized to work and currently based in Canada.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in high-growth startup environments.
  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms like Greenhouse or Lever.
  • Experience with advanced sourcing tools such as Gem, Seekout, or Juicebox.
  • Experience in talent intelligence and market mapping.
