TL;DR

Technical Recruiter (Web3): Identifying and closing top-tier engineering and quantitative talent for a DeFi risk management platform with an accent on technical fluency and crypto-native sourcing. Focus on building high-quality pipelines for quant developers and protocol researchers using on-chain and community-based tools.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the contiguous United States or Canada)

Salary: $135,000 - $155,000 base

What you will do

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, including quant developers and protocol researchers.
  • Build high-quality talent pipelines using GitHub, DAO contributions, and crypto-specific communities such as Farcaster and Discord.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define hiring needs and implement structured evaluation frameworks.
  • Optimize the candidate experience and improve outreach copy and interview structures.
  • Maintain ATS hygiene and provide data-driven hiring advice to managers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech.
  • Proven track record of hiring senior engineers and quantitative researchers.
  • Deep understanding of core crypto and DeFi concepts.
  • Must be able to work within the contiguous United States or Canada.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and communicate technical value propositions.

Nice to have

  • Established network in research DAOs, GitHub, and crypto Twitter.
  • Experience in high-growth, remote-first environments.
  • Knowledge of TradFi/Web2 quantitative fund workflows.
  • Global talent acquisition experience across multiple time zones.
