Location: Remote (US), must be based within 90 minutes of a major airport (preferred: Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego) and able to travel 50% of the time.
Salary: $110,000–$140,000 (base salary only).

What you will do
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities, including greenfield and expansion accounts.
- Structure and close large, complex sequencing projects to drive sustained consumables revenue.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving scientific, operational, and executive leadership.
- Drive new instrument placements by aligning technology with clinical and operational goals.
- Maintain disciplined forecasting and deal management using Salesforce.
- Serve as a field voice, providing competitive and market insights to the internal strategy team.
Requirements
- BS in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline required; PhD preferred.
- 8+ years of sales experience in genomics or next-generation sequencing.
- Proven ability to manage complex, long-cycle enterprise sales independently.
- Must be based in the US and able to travel 50% of the time.
- Demonstrated success in selling capital equipment and large-scale consumables.
- Strong understanding of genomics markets including WGS, single-cell, oncology, and liquid biopsy.
