Salary: $109,987 — $136,789.50 USD

What you will do

• Execute monthly accounting close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations in NetSuite in compliance with ASC 606.
• Perform ongoing contract review of closed deals to ensure appropriateness of revenue recognition.
• Draft and maintain technical accounting memos for judgmental revenue positions to ensure they are audit-ready.
• Prepare system reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in the design, data integration, and testing of NetSuite ARM and other system enhancements.
• Support SOX and internal control walkthroughs, partnering with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of combined experience in revenue and/or public accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS companies.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Must be based in the United States to support the Oakland office hybrid model.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite ARM, Salesforce, Rocketlane, Stripe, or SQL.
• Experience with subscription, usage/consumption, and professional services revenue recognition.
• Experience with ERP system implementations or mergers.
• CPA License.
