Senior Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Apply mechanical engineering principles to design and develop components and assemblies for radar platforms.
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models using industry-standard tools.
• Produce technical documentation including engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Collaborate with systems engineering and other disciplines to define and implement requirements.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including development, prototyping, verification, and support.
• Resolve design, manufacturing, and field issues while applying best practices for maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, and Ansys.
• Ability to review drawings for proper Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with DoD or U.S. government customers.
• Familiarity with Military Standards and ruggedized equipment design.
• Knowledge of materials and corrosion control.
