What you will do

• Oversee safe and efficient transportation operations, including delivering annual operating plans and cost savings.
• Manage private fleet drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors, handling recruitment, retention, and performance coaching.
• Optimize route plans and asset utilization to reduce regional cost per mile and maximize delivery performance.
• Maintain transportation capacity to handle volume surges using private, common, and dedicated fleet solutions.
• Ensure strict adherence to DOT rules, regulations, and safety standards across all operations.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational leadership to align transportation strategies with branch requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in managing private fleets with demonstrated efficiency.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Experience with HAZMAT and tanker transportation operations is strongly desired.
• Strong P&L management, analytical, and negotiating skills.
