Location: Remote-first company, but hybrid if based in San Francisco. Must be available during peak support hours (Central Time), including weekends.

Salary: $55,000 – $95,000 USD (based on geographical tiering).

What you will do

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone.
  • Manage escalated cases, including sensitive medical complaints, to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide daily operational support and real-time coaching to the customer support team.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits on support tickets and provide constructive feedback.
  • Lead onboarding and training efforts for new team members.
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in client support or customer success.
  • Background in a fast-paced, early-stage startup or marketplace platform.
  • Exceptional communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Proficiency with customer support platforms such as Zendesk, Hubspot, or Intercom.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work during peak hours in the Central Time zone, including weekends.

  • Experience in veterinary, technician, or animal healthcare sectors.
