What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Prepare the organization for SOX compliance through testing, remediation, and external audit partnership.
• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan for financial, operational, and compliance functions.
• Establish enterprise risk assessment processes and maintain a dynamic risk register.
• Drive the standardization and documentation of key business processes and control environments.
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on scalability, controls, and IPO readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–10+ years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Strong expertise in SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
• Proven ability to work in a high-growth or startup environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or hardware sectors is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience supporting IPO readiness or public company compliance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP and data analytics tools.
