Salary: $132,000 – $165,000 USD (Base salary for NY-based positions)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end audit engagements including scoping, fieldwork, testing, and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to encourage ongoing risk monitoring.
• Identify audit findings and lead discussions with management to implement effective remediation actions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes using data analytics, automation, and technology.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including methodology enhancement and audit technology integration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CIA, CAMS, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong expertise in internal audit methodology, risk and control frameworks (e.g., COSO, IIA Standards).
• Proven ability to lead complex audit engagements and manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leaders.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NYDFS, FCA, MAS, AML/BSA).

Nice to have

• Experience within fintech, payments, or the crypto industry.
• Familiarity with data analytics, AI, and emerging audit technologies.
