TL;DR

Vice President, HR Technology (HRIS): Developing and owning the HR technology roadmap for a global decentralized organization with an accent on AI integration and HRIS optimization. Focus on scaling systems through acquisitions, enhancing employee experience, and bridging the gap between HR and IT leadership.

Location: Must be based in Illinois, United States or Ontario, Canada

Salary: $125,000 – $145,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and own the short- and long-term HR technology roadmap aligned with business growth.
  • Identify and implement practical AI solutions to improve HR operations and employee experience.
  • Oversee core HR systems performance and lead large-scale HRIS implementations.
  • Build a strong strategic partnership with IT leadership and engage key stakeholders across HR and Finance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and establish processes for evaluating competing technology priorities.
  • Lead, develop, and set high standards for a team of HR technology professionals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working in a global, decentralized organization across multiple geographies.
  • Proven track record of large-scale HRIS implementations (Workday experience is strongly preferred).
  • Solid understanding of AI and its practical application in an HR context.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology projects from start to finish.
  • Must be located in Illinois (USA) or Ontario (Canada).

Nice to have

  • Experience with systems integration and M&A activities.
  • Experience working alongside an HR Business Partnering (HRBP) model.
