TL;DR
Senior Desktop Support Analyst (IT Support): Providing second-line technical support for desktop and laptop environments with an accent on the stability and performance of IS-supported software and hardware. Location: On-site at York Hospital, York, Maine (transition to hybrid possible after onboarding)
Salary: $50,000 - $52,000

What you will do
- Identify and resolve desktop and laptop hardware problems.
- Perform initial network troubleshooting and manage incidents escalated from first-line support.
- Proactively resolve virus issues and implement preventative security initiatives.
- Assist in new system deployments, including software installation and configuration.
- Create and maintain support documentation, Intranet pages, and FAQ resources.
- Provide technical suggestions for projects aimed at improving departmental services.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in a desktop support environment.
- Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Exchange, MS Office Suite, Citrix, Firewall/VPN, MS SQL Server, and MS IIS.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in York, Maine.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or a relevant combination of training and experience.
