What you will do

• Serve as the People Technology SME for Core HCM in Workday, owning configuration across the employee lifecycle.
• Design and maintain complex, scalable solutions focused on automation and elevating the employee experience.
• Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders across Operations, Global Expansion, IT, and Finance to drive the technology roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end M&A integrations, including due diligence, data migration via EIBs, and post-close harmonization.
• Implement AI-powered automations to streamline HR processes using tools like Workato AI agents and Claude LLMs.
• Mentor team members on system configuration, data models, and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of deep, hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience across complex, global tenants.
• Demonstrated experience leading high-stakes deliveries such as M&A or major organizational restructurings.
• Deep fluency in Workday's data model, security architecture, and business process framework.
• Ability to independently triage integration issues involving EIBs, Studio, Orchestrate, and APIs.
• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Claude) as a multiplier for research and problem-solving.
• Must be based in the United States.
