What you will do

• Route and schedule all outbound freight for safe, efficient, and economical operation.
• Supervise truck drivers, administrative support, and fleet maintenance staff.
• Implement and manage the branch regulatory compliance program (CFR 49).
• Develop transportation budgets and operating plans in coordination with sales and branch management.
• Manage personnel development, including hiring, promoting, and termination within the dispatch function.
• Resolve customer service issues and ensure delivery requirements are met cost-effectively.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in transportation.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical distribution facility operations.
• Working knowledge of governmental requirements such as OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and DOT.
• Experience using computer inventory systems for shipping and receiving products.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills to handle diverse workloads.
