TL;DR
Account Manager (SMB): Managing and growing a book of business for a leading go-to-market platform with an accent on retention, expansion revenue, and consultative sales. Focus on executing the full sales cycle, managing high-volume renewals, and driving customer outcomes within the SMB segment.
Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 days in office)
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Manage the entire sales process from initial conversation to close for a book of ~300 SMB accounts.
- Handle a high volume of monthly renewals and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Conduct 5+ meetings daily, including demos, pricing calls, and customer escalations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Maintain Salesforce hygiene and provide accurate pipeline forecasting within a 10% margin.
- Utilize consultative selling skills to articulate platform value to Director-level stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing a large book of accounts in the SMB segment.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets for at least 3 trailing quarters.
- Must be willing to work in the Austin office 3 days per week.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment and handle objections effectively.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.
