What you will do

• Oversee daily uplink operations to ensure optimal performance and integrity of RF and IP-based broadcast systems.
• Manage complex signal routing, switching, and redundancy across multiple satellite and terrestrial systems.
• Lead real-time troubleshooting and incident response for broadcast-impacting issues.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and on-the-job training for junior technicians.
• Document incidents, corrective actions, and procedural enhancements within established systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and network operations teams on system configuration, maintenance, and testing.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee (ITAR requirement).
• 0-2 years of experience in technical operations, satellite uplink, or broadcast environments.
• Availability to support a 24/7 facility, including holidays and weekends.
• Associate degree in Broadcast Engineering, Telecommunications, or Electronics preferred.
• Experience supporting live, mission-critical broadcast systems.
• Proficiency with baseband and IP signal routing, Linux, and web-based monitoring tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
• Knowledge of Ops Genie, ELK, or Splunk for monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Jira for incident management.
• Familiarity with Uplink Distribution and Conditional Access Systems.
