Associate Radar Integration & Test Engineer (Radar)

TL;DR

Associate Radar Integration & Test Engineer (Radar): Supporting the deployment of radar systems for the FAA with an accent on system-level production tests and hardware/software integration. Focus on troubleshooting anomalies, performing data analysis using custom tools, and executing formal selloff procedures at major airports.

Location: Based in East Syracuse, NY, with extensive travel required (approximately 2-3 weeks every 8 weeks)

Salary: $72,000 - $90,000

What you will do

• Conduct system-level production tests to ensure proper manufacturing and assembly of radar systems.
• Integrate hardware and software components and troubleshoot technical anomalies.
• Execute test procedures for formal customer selloff and generate detailed test reports.
• Perform data analysis using custom test tools and interact with stakeholders on technical issues.
• Support the deployment of radar systems at some of the largest airports in the US.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, physics, or mathematics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual.
• Willingness to travel minimum of 25% in support of program and business efforts.
• Experience in a technical environment and comfort working in a test lab.
• Experience with testing a cloud service architecture.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience with radar systems and hardware/software integration and test methodologies.
• Experience operating electronic test gear such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and waveform generators.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Linux, TCP/IP networking and protocols.
• Experience with Jira and Subversion.
