What you will do

• Hire, mentor, and support engineers in their career development and leadership growth.
• Establish high technical standards through architecture reviews, testing, and a culture of engineering excellence.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to define and execute a long-term strategic roadmap.
• Oversee the development of scalable, secure, and cloud-agnostic resource management infrastructure for big data and ML workloads.
• Lead the creation of reliable distributed services and client libraries capable of handling massive datasets across multiple cloud providers.
• Build internal tools and services at the intersection of machine learning and distributed systems to streamline operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years of experience in engineering management.
• Strong expertise in large-scale distributed services, including monitoring, testing, and SLAs.
• Proven ability to align multiple stakeholders on competing priorities.
• Capacity to balance immediate delivery needs with long-term system stability.
• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
