Location: Hybrid (New York City, NY or Washington, DC). Staff are expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $360,000 - $435,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Drive new business and revenue growth specifically within state and local government agencies.
• Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment.
• Navigate unique procurement requirements, including state-specific regulations and security standards.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers across state, county, and municipal agencies.
• Coordinate with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP) and system integrators for successful deployment.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams to refine government offerings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in the state and local government space.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of emerging technologies and exceeding revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of government agency missions, procurement mechanisms, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with state-specific data privacy laws and security compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York City or Washington, DC offices.
