What you will do

  • Lead strategic and operational sourcing activities across R&D categories.
  • Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance, risk, and cost optimization.
  • Drive contracting activities, including Confidentiality, Master, and Vendor Agreements.
  • Lead negotiations for budgets, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global procurement teams to deliver projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • English: Business-level fluency required.
  • Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Mississauga, Canada.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Development and Clinical Technologies (e.g., CROs, IxRS).
  • Understanding of R&D procurement categories and GCP regulations.
