What you will do
- Lead strategic and operational sourcing activities across R&D categories.
- Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance, risk, and cost optimization.
- Drive contracting activities, including Confidentiality, Master, and Vendor Agreements.
- Lead negotiations for budgets, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global procurement teams to deliver projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- English: Business-level fluency required.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Mississauga, Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Knowledge of Clinical Development and Clinical Technologies (e.g., CROs, IxRS).
- Understanding of R&D procurement categories and GCP regulations.
