What you will do

• Own and prioritize the product backlog aligned with client objectives.
• Translate business and policy requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to guide delivery.
• Engage with senior government stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Ensure products meet accessibility standards and Government Digital Service (GDS) expectations.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in agile environments.
• Experience working with data products, analytics platforms, or data-driven services.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience working with UK public sector or government clients.
• Must qualify for UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of UK Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
• Exposure to data governance, data architecture, or data platforms.
