What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, customer terms, and outsourcing arrangements.
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice on consumer credit law, FCA Principles, and Consumer Duty.
  • Manage customer complaints, disputes, and support large-scale remediation and rectification programmes.
  • Advise on data protection, information risk, and customer data flows.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the Transport and Consumer divisions.
  • Collaborate with internal legal teams and engage with external regulators.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience advising on commercial contracts.
  • Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and practically.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
  • Interest in legal technology and process improvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience advising on consumer credit issues.
  • Exposure to complaints handling, disputes, or remediation work.
