What you will do

• Lead end-to-end site selection, feasibility, and risk assessment aligned with zoning, land use, and aviation constraints.
• Drive permitting efforts across multiple metros, navigating novel regulatory pathways for autonomous drone operations.
• Represent hirify.global in public forums, including City Councils and Planning & Zoning boards, to secure critical approvals.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to translate site constraints into permit-ready design requirements.
• Partner with government affairs and legal teams to shape regulatory approaches in new jurisdictions.
• Manage the building permit process and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Real Estate, Development, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Development, Permitting, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Must be local to the Atlanta area with existing, credible relationships with AHJs and permitting authorities.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet and Bluebeam; ability to interpret and review technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the state to support expansion efforts.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (Civil) License in the State of Texas with ability to stamp drawings.
• Experience in aviation, logistics, or other highly regulated infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
