What you will do

• Own and maintain the global revenue recognition policy framework under ASC 606, including position papers and internal guidance.
• Lead the end-to-end revenue contract review process for strategic, non-standard, and complex deals.
• Govern the SKU framework, ensuring accurate mapping to performance obligations and ERP configuration.
• Act as the primary contact for external auditors regarding revenue policies, judgments, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and RevOps to influence contract terms and establish commercial guardrails.
• Lead monthly reviews with Accounting leadership to discuss emerging risks and policy updates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a heavy focus on ASC 606.
• Significant experience in Big 4 or national public accounting.
• Background in technology, consumer, or subscription/recurring revenue businesses.
• Exceptional technical writing skills for drafting concise and structured policy memos.
• Must be based in the United States (Continental time zones).

Nice to have

• CPA certification (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Experience within high-growth, global organizations.
• Prior people leadership experience within a revenue or technical accounting function.
