TL;DR
Senior Privacy Counsel (Legal/Privacy): Leading and supporting legal and operational privacy work across a global health and fitness product ecosystem with an accent on global privacy law compliance and privacy-by-design. Focus on operationalizing privacy programs, managing data governance for AI and algorithms, and ensuring scalable compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Location: Must be based in Poland, Cyprus, or Ukraine

What you will do
- Act as a subject matter expert on global privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and FTC regulations.
- Lead and evolve privacy-by-design reviews for new products, features, and data initiatives.
- Develop and maintain internal privacy resources such as policies, playbooks, and DPIAs.
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams on data governance, retention, and incident response.
- Oversee vendor privacy compliance and manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) at scale.
- Translate regulatory developments into actionable advice and scalable operational processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in privacy or data protection law within a tech or digital consumer-facing company.
- Deep understanding of GDPR and other global privacy regimes.
- Experience operationalizing privacy programs, including cookie compliance and user-facing disclosures.
- Ability to advise on customer data collection as it relates to AI, algorithms, and workflows.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills to influence product and engineering teams.
- Must be based in Poland, Cyprus, or Ukraine.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of CCPA/CPRA.
- CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or similar professional certifications.
- Experience within digital health, wellness tech, or app-based business models.
