Salary: $155,000 – $170,000 per year (for NYC candidates)

What you will do
- Identify, apply for, and manage compliance for federal, state, and local government incentives.
- Act as the primary US advocate with transportation authorities to resolve regulatory hurdles, such as weight allowance permits.
- Monitor and engage with the evolving policy landscape regarding carbon markets, zero-emission zones, SBTi, and GLEC frameworks.
- Translate policy intelligence into concrete strategic recommendations for commercial and operational workstreams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, sustainability, or public funding within transportation, energy, or clean technology.
- Must be based in Austin, TX or New York, NY.
- Expertise in securing government grants and navigating the US clean transportation policy landscape.
- Knowledge of carbon credit markets, renewable energy certificates, and sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in program management, written/verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Established relationships with government entities in the clean transportation or energy space.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity.
