What you will do

• Lead execution of electricity supply agreements, PPAs, and VPPAs across U.S. and European markets.
• Develop standardized contracting, approval, and risk review workflows in partnership with Finance and Legal.
• Design and execute energy hedging strategies to mitigate price volatility and congestion risk.
• Collaborate with data center operators to align power procurement with site selection and load growth.
• Lead commercial negotiations with utilities, energy suppliers, and renewable developers.
• Manage executed contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in energy procurement, power trading, or utility markets.
• U.S. work authorization required due to export control compliance regulations.
• Deep understanding of U.S. deregulated power markets and familiarity with European regulatory structures.
• Proven track record in structuring complex energy contracts and financial modeling.
• Strong expertise in energy forecasting, market risk analysis, and hedging strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex energy concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting energy procurement for hyperscalers or cloud providers.
• Direct experience developing renewable energy strategies like greenfield PPAs or RECs.
• Familiarity with transmission planning and interconnection processes.
• Proficiency with energy market analytics tools and BI reporting.
