Director Business Development & Sales (VR & Health Innovation): Driving growth in immersive technology, AI, and health innovation by originating new opportunities and cultivating senior-level partnerships with an accent on healthcare systems and research institutions. Location: Remote-first, must be based in Canada (preferably Greater Vancouver)

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in XR, immersive learning, and digital health across healthcare systems and research institutions.
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with healthcare leaders, research sponsors, and institutional partners.
  • Lead the full commercial cycle, from consultative discovery and proposal development to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal design and technology leaders to create tailored solution approaches and commercial structures.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, applied research programs, and collaboration forums.
  • Gather market intelligence to inform positioning and go-to-market strategy for the XR and digital health sectors.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or consultative sales within tech or digital health.
  • Proven success in originating and closing complex commercial engagements.
  • Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and institutional decision-makers.
  • Must be based in Canada.
  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort navigating emerging markets.

Nice to have

  • Experience with XR, AI, immersive learning, or digital health.
